Archbishop’s interaction with and Hindi Mass for Tribal Migrant Workers from Assam in Jigani Back

Dr. Bernard Moras, Archbishop of Catholic Archdiocese of Bangalore, addressed the migrant workers, mostly young men from Assam and interacted with them. He welcomed them to the Church services and promised all helps. The workers freely asked questions and expressed their concerns, expectations and difficulties.


Adv. (Fr.) Francis Guntipilly promised the workers in getting entitlements such as Aadhar Cards, Ration cards, etc.

After the interactive session with Archbishop, the workers had Liturgy in Hindi followed by meal in common provided by Labour and migration Unit of ISI.


The workers promised to meet in large number on 1st May, the International Workers’ Day in Anekal.
