THE DIRECTOR SPEAKS AT THE 36th SESSION OF UNHRC, GENEVA
Dr. Selvaraj Arulnathan, Director of Indian Social Institute, Bangalore attended the 36 th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Conference (UNHRC) from September 17 till 29 th , 2017.

During the session he attended many conferences, presented in the main event issues on War widows in Sri Lanka, Hate Campaign against the marginalized and minorities in India and the menace of Manual Scavenging.

Besides these main events, he also chaired sessions in the side events on continued war in Sri Lanka, Right to Self Determination and Systematic torture of Indian State. He also gave an interview to a Sri Lankan TV channel LankaSri on growing violence and human rights violations in South Asia.
