Mr. Pushparaj of Gengapattu went to Abu Dhabi in 2014 for work. He went on a tourist Visa and worked in a hotel for a few months. He was not paid for three months. He felt that there was no future in Abu Dhabi, went into depression, left the job and returned to India. Mrs. Jebamalai Mary, the wife of Mr. Pushparaj does not enjoy good health and has many ailments. Their only daughter was in Class XI. A few months back Jebamalai Mary had breathing trouble and chest pain. She was immediately taken to MIOT hospital.
After examining her health, the doctor suspected a block in the heart and advised her to go for an angiogram test. She needs Open Heart Surgery which is expensive. JMMEx, supported by Caritas Germany helped her to go for a better check-up. She feels physically and mentally comfortable. Though she received minimum assistance for medication, she remains grateful to ISI and JMMEx.
She was overwhelmed by the work of JMMEx and its constant accompaniment. She expressed that the providence of God is experienced through the accompaniment provided by JMMEx. She said, “When my relatives abandoned me JMMEx cared for me and comforted me. I am grateful to Caritas-Germany, Indian Social Institute-Bangalore, and JMMEx for their genuine love, care, and continuous accompaniment.”
