Role:

The Kitchen Helper’s duties include washing and cleaning the kitchen and food preparation area. They also help with preparing ingredients for foods, beverages and cocktails; testing new dishes and planning menus. Other responsibilities include removing rubbish, washing bins and disinfecting the entire kitchen to meet health and safety standards. The Assistant Cook will also maintain the kitchen inventory, buy and store ingredients and clear the refrigerators and store.

Duties and Key responsibilities:

• Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients

• Cleaning and sanitising the food preparation areas based on institute and health and safety standards
• Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment
• Buying, weighing and storing ingredients and food supplies
• Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens
• Managing inventory, unloading supplies and organising the storeroom

Salary: Rs. 15,000/- per month (Non-negotiable)

Timing: Your working hours at the institute: 6 days a week. Your will be either assigned morning or evening duty and will have one day of weekly off. Shift I: 5.30 to 2.00 pm and Shift II: 12.00 to 9 pm.

Language: Kannada, Tamil.

Age: 18- 50 yrs.
