The Library and Documentation Centre has been playing a pivotal role in facilitating academic ambience and intellectual works at the Institute. NGOs and research students have been frequenting the Library and Documentation Centre. The library has about 11,000 books, reports, policy documents especially on the marginalised communities. The institute subscribes to about 17 journals and magazines. In order to provide an easy access to the users, books and documents are catalogued and computerised.
