The three-day training programby Indian Social Institute- Bengaluru on Self and Society at Komaram Bheem Memorial Hall, Jodeghatt, had a big impact on all 60 tribal youth from four mandals in Asifabad district. They learned important skills like self-confidence, leadership, and self-awareness. By sharing their goals, they showed they are committed to helping their families and communities. Activities and discussions helped them connect and feel responsible for their community. Many felt inspired to make a positive difference. The training boosted their personal growth and encouraged them to work together for society’s improvement. After attending the training program, Ananda Rao, Rosily, Alekya, and Kavitha shared their experiences with great enthusiasm.

Ananda Rao mentioned that the program gave him immense motivation and helped him realize his potential. Rosily said the leadership lessons, which offered her a new perspective. Alekya learned good things she didn’t know before and now understands how to take on her social responsibilities.

Kavitha plans to inspire the youth in her village by sharing the knowledge she gained. The training showed them how to progress independently emphasized the importance of tasks for society and helped them recognize themselves better. They learned how to cooperate with others and their social responsibilities became clearer.

They experienced a strong sense of community, understood the value of empathy and compassion and realized the importance of continuous learning and self-improvement. They are now committed to making a positive difference in their community and inspiring others to do the same.

Resource persons shared valuable insights on important topics.  They emphasized the importance of self-esteem and how it impacts one’s life. They also talked about the significance of community and working together for a better future.

As a facilitator of this training program, it was my first time training to the Gond tribals. I feel very happy about the changes I saw from the first day to the third day. They became more confident in speaking and actively participated in the sessions. It was wonderful to see their growth and enthusiasm. This training made a positive impact on everyone involved, and I am proud to have been a part of it.
