On 22nd to 23rd September 2024, Fr. Samir Minj participated in a two-day consultation program organized by MAIN (Migration and Anti-Exploitation Network) at ISI Delhi. The event brought together stakeholders from across India, including directors of various MAIN hubs and centers, who shared their experiences, challenges, and the difficulties they face while working with distressed migrants.

The sessions were highly interactive, providing a platform for in-depth discussions and collaboration. It was the first time that Fr. Samir had the opportunity to meet all the directors of the MAIN hubs and learn about their work firsthand.

During the program, Fr. Samir shared the mission and initiatives of ISI Bangalore’s Labour Migration Unit, highlighting the support it provides to migrant workers in distress. He also encouraged greater collaboration between ISI Bangalore and MAIN centers, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in addressing migrant issues across India.
