The MAIN National Consultation Meeting was successfully held from 9th to 10th September 2025 at ISI Bengaluru. The meeting was organized by Fr. Martin Puthussery SJ, Director of MAIN, and brought together all Hub Directors, Zonal Directors, and key collaborators from across the country.
The gathering was further graced by the presence of Fr. Stanislaus D’Souza SJ, POSA (President of South Asia), who appreciated the tremendous work being done by MAIN. In his address, he expressed his full support for the mission and encouraged all Directors to intensify their efforts in both source and destination states, emphasizing the importance of reaching the most vulnerable migrant communities.
Fr. Selvaraj SJ, Director of ISI Bengaluru, also shared valuable insights during his speech. He underlined the need for stronger advocacy, networking, and collaboration, and called for building unity among migrant groups and federations to amplify their voices and rights.
The two-day consultation included dynamic sharing sessions from both source and destination state Hub Directors. Participants actively engaged in discussions, reviewed ongoing efforts, and explored new strategies to strengthen the movement.
The meeting concluded on a high note, with renewed energy, deeper collaboration, and a strong commitment to MAIN’s mission. It was a truly fruitful and inspiring gathering for all involved.
