“As we are from the working class, we are least concerned about our health and endure our life with physical pain and hardship to earn our daily bread. We compromise with health issues. The medical camp had given us an opportunity to know one’s health condition. The medical team did a thorough check up of all of us. I was surprised that the medical team did not take a break and worked for 4 hours continuously. We are given  freely calcium and vitamin capsules, which we need most”, said Ms. Mallika, from Karnataka.

“My co-workers Ms. Priya was diagnosed with chest, Ms. Selvi with uterus and Rachel with ear problems. Ms. Pradika was found to be highly diabetics. These persons were referred to consult the specialists in the hospital. Who would do such services free of cost these days”, exclaimed Ms. Albina, from Tamil Nadu.

Sujatha from Tamil Nadu gratefully expressed, “As we are all aging, many of us had bone related issues such as knee pain, neck pain and leg pain. We were listened to by the doctors and proper guidance was given. I would like to express my gratitude to the doctor and health professionals and sisters for organising this opportunity to know our health situation and their readiness to help us”.
